Almost ten years ago my wife and I financially lost everything.

I had made a risky (and stupid) investment that cost me every last cent I had. We had to clear out everything in our bank accounts and savings and sell a property just to cover the debt.

It was hard on our marriage and I felt so much shame. I felt like a loser and it really got me down.
