How Full Is Your Blessing Bucket?
By Mike Foster
God has actually given you everything you need to rebuild your life.
Before you think I’m crazy, stop and take a look around you. What tools have you been given?
You may be taking some inventory and starting to think, “Man, my raw materials are pretty slim.” Maybe the home you grew up in was rough. You never had money. You didn’t receive a decent education. There was no encouragement from friends and no positive influences in your life. All you have feels broken. Let’s be honest, some people’s blessings buckets are fuller than yours and it’s hard.
There’s two ways you can respond. You can decide that life isn’t fair and just give up. Or you can look around at the stuff you have and go to God for the materials you’re missing.
When you decide to give up, you are actually tearing yourself down more. Anything that had been built out of your life, you’re ripping apart. However, when you go to God, He can lay a foundation to create something extraordinary out of your life.
God constructed the world out of nothing, so imagine what He can create with the something that He’s put inside your heart.
What will you let God build through you?
